biography Yiannis Isidorou
Yiannis Isidorou was born in Pireus in 1969. He studied in Focus School of Photography (1989-1991) in Athens.
He worked as a cameraman in advertising productions and documentaries. He collaborated with mediamax.gr company as a web designer.
In 2002, he established the art space Vortex Studio, where he teaches photography and is responsible for the technical part of the film making workshop.
He designed the webzine happyfew.gr and he is the editor of the fine-arts section. He is a founding member of the group Womb Arts Collective (www.womb.gr) and he curated its first exhibition (November 2003).
In 2005, collaborating with a group of artists, he designed intothepill.net, a web-based platform for the advancement and promotion of video art.
